Goodbye 2008...hello 2009!

Happy New Year!!! I cannot believe it has been a whole year since my photography adventure began. It seems like just yesterday that I started down this path and I want to take a moment before the year is over to thank all of you who have believed in me throughout the year! I feel so blessed to be doing what I love, and thank you to everyone who welcomed me into your lives and gave me the opportunity to document your lives by photographing your children, pregnancies, and families in 2008!

It's been a fun year, and I am SO incredibly excited for 2009 and all the great things I'm sure it will bring! I look forward to many great sessions this coming year!

Here are some highlights from my family's holidays this year.

Beginning with a tree:

and then there was lots of snow:

A Fire-Breathing Dragon (because Christmas isn't Christmas without a fire-breathing dragon if you are a 4 year old boy):

And the funny outtakes from trying to take pictures of a 4 year old who would really rather do anything else but:

and finally we got a good one:

And lastly, since everyone has now received theirs in the mail, here is our holiday card this year:

Happy Holidays to everyone and hope to see you all in the new year!

SNOW DAY!!!

We woke this morning to snow falling lightly and a few inches on the ground. We are currently having an "artic blast" all over the Pacific Northwest, and the kids were really juiced up to get ouside. Little A didn't last long. It was a bit windy and in the mid 20s, and she was giving us looks like "what on earth are we doing out here".

I didn't bring my camera out this morning, but I did go back out with the boys this afternoon and got some fun snaps!

Waiting to go outside...

Snowball fight!

P.S. Excuse the pink scarf. It was really blustery so I tied my scarf on him not thinking about the whole photo thing. :)
